Specialist Physician – Anesthesia

About the role

SSMC is seeking a compassionate Specialist Physician in Anesthesia to deliver high‑quality care to patients with injuries and common illnesses. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of medical conditions while providing guidance on lifestyle and preventive health.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventive care and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications or therapies and explain medical procedures.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work with nursing and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused and compassionate.
• Willingness to stay current with medical advancements.
