Specialist Physician – Burns Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Specialist Physician in Burns Surgery to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering primary and specialized care to patients with burn injuries and related conditions, ensuring high‑quality treatment and patient education.

Key responsibilities

• Examining patients and taking medical histories.
• Diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining results to patients.
• Counselling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and lifestyle changes.
• Updating patient charts and records to reflect current findings and treatments.
• Recommending and designing treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications or therapies.
• Explaining medical procedures to patients.
• Consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, and collaborating with nurses and other healthcare staff.
• Complying with medical laws and regulations such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with successful completion of residency and internship.
• State license and certification to practice medicine.
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and dexterous.
• Patience and compassion.
