Specialist, Product Control & Middle Office

About the role

The Specialist, Product Control & Middle Office ensures robust risk management, compliance and sustainability controls for Elite & Private Banking assets. The role creates and maintains MIS reports, supports transformation projects and works closely with cross‑functional teams to safeguard investment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce the monthly Asset Under Management MIS report with extensive sanity checks and data validation.
• Analyse AUM movements, provide evidence for positions and support senior management decision‑making.
• Maintain the product database as the golden source of product categorisation and parameters.
• Participate in IT transformation projects as business representative for UAT, data migration and cut‑over activities.
• Monitor end‑to‑end trade lifecycle settlement and respond to investment and trade queries.
• Coordinate with Central Finance to track product profitability and support budgeting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in product control, middle office or investment operations within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, audit and compliance standards.
• Ability to engage with cross‑functional stakeholders and act as escalation point for trade and product issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in creating and validating MIS reports across multiple source systems.
• Knowledge of investment product lifecycle, valuation and revenue recognition.
• Experience with UAT, data migration and transformation project coordination.
• Familiarity with wealth management platforms and product documentation.
