Specialist Production Optimization

About the role

Provides specialized advice and guidance on Production Optimization to support Subsurface and Surface teams, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and driving the adoption of new methodologies and technologies to enhance production and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement the Technical Center strategy, identifying technical challenges and evaluating new technologies, tools, and software for production optimization.
• Provide expert consultation to asset teams on production optimization studies, integrating well and surface models to maximize asset value.
• Design and lead high‑level production optimization frameworks, develop performance indicators, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across assets.
• Supervise and mentor production optimization staff and fresh graduates, delivering in‑house training and coordinating with ADNOC HQ and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 9–10 years of experience in petroleum production optimization, including at least 5 years in a specialist role.
• Strong background in subsurface production activities, well performance analysis, and artificial lift systems.

• Production Optimization methodologies and tools.

• Drilling, completion, stimulation, well testing, workover and ringless operations.
