Specialist Reservoir Engineer

About the role

The Reservoir Engineer Specialist will lead the development, maintenance and application of integrated static and dynamic reservoir simulation models to support field development decisions and ensure compliance with company governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop fit‑for‑purpose, history‑matched dynamic reservoir simulation models.
• Integrate multi‑disciplinary data (geology, petrophysics, PVT, SCAL, pressure, production) to ensure physics‑consistent modelling.
• Support field development planning, well placement optimisation and production forecasting.
• Provide decision‑ready technical outputs, including scenario analysis, sensitivity studies and uncertainty quantification, for governance meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and updating static and dynamic reservoir models, including 3‑D model construction and history matching.
• Strong background in uncertainty analysis, STOIIP estimation and risk quantification.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams (geology, petrophysics, production, facilities) and deliver technically defensible packages.
