Specialist Surgical Consumables – Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Specialist Surgical Consumables will drive sales and promotional activities for sutures, meshes and biosurgical products across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Working closely with the local distribution partner and regional Business Development team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales and promotional initiatives in collaboration with the local distributor.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct customer and clinical visits, provide regular follow‑up and deliver product presentations.
• Support product launches, forecasting and stock management with the distribution partner.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends and competitor activities.
• Implement global and regional strategies, build relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital decision‑makers.
• Influence tender specifications, convert tenders and apply pricing strategies.
• Organise workshops, trainings and product demonstrations for customers and internal teams.
• Assist in product usage evaluations in the operating room.

Required profile

• Proven sales and marketing experience in the medical field.
• Understanding of surgical processes and indications is desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands‑on approach.
• Fluent English language proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common IT software such as MS Office.
