Specialist Vascular Surgeon – Abu Dhabi (Urgent Hiring)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking a Specialist Vascular Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. This full‑time position offers an excellent opportunity for internationally trained specialists to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage arterial, venous and peripheral vascular conditions.
• Perform vascular surgical procedures such as vascular access, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy and varicose vein interventions.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, obtain informed consent and develop treatment plans.
• Provide post‑operative care, monitor for complications and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical care teams.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including Doppler ultrasound and CT angiography.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACS, Arab Board, MD/MS/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Vascular surgical techniques (angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, varicose vein procedures).
• Interpretation of Doppler ultrasound and CT angiography.
• Pre‑operative assessment and informed consent processes.
• Post‑operative patient monitoring and complication management.
