Specialty Pide Pizza Chef

About the role

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialty Pide Pizza Chef to lead its pizza station. You will be responsible for creating authentic Turkish‑style pide and classic pizzas in a luxury hotel environment, ensuring every dish meets the brand’s high quality and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage pizza dough, including mixing, kneading, fermentation, and portioning according to established recipes.
• Operate and maintain wood‑fired and commercial pizza ovens, controlling temperature for optimal cooking.
• Execute pizza preparation with precise topping application, cooking techniques, and presentation.
• Maintain an organized station, manage inventory, and uphold cleanliness and storage protocols.
• Monitor food quality and consistency, adjusting recipes as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate timing during peak service.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in menu development and test new pizza recipes.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on pizza preparation and station procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a pizza specialist in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, hydration ratios, and ingredient quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
