Sr. Manager, Strategy & Strategic Planning

About the role

Medtronic is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategy & Strategic Planning for its TURMECA region, based in Dubai. The role sits in the EURASIA Strategy & Business Development function and acts as the regional strategic partner and execution orchestrator for TURMECA, reporting solidly to the EURASIA Vice President and with a dotted line to the TURMECA Vice President. It combines strategy development with cross-functional orchestration of priority regional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of TURMECA's regional strategy, including vision, strategic choices, growth agenda and priorities
• Lead the annual strategic planning process and develop strategy for priority countries, key therapy areas and regional initiatives (e.g. Saudi market strategy, GTM transformation, CAS market development, robotics)
• Support the identification, structuring and execution governance of major cross-functional initiatives, ensuring they are scoped, owned, tracked and reported
• Provide strategic analysis, decision support and executive-ready content for TURMECA leadership meetings, town halls and country quarterly business reviews

Required profile

• University degree; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, strategic marketing, market development, management consulting, transformation or project/program leadership
• Management consulting experience
• Experience across functions, businesses, geographies or regions strongly preferred
• Prior exposure to strategy development, operating model design, market development, portfolio management or cross-functional transformation is valuable
