SRC Technician - Power Generation Equipment

About the role

Aggreko is looking for an SRC Technician based in Dubai who reports to the lead technician. You will be responsible for the refurbishment, repair and maintenance of Aggreko equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble Aggreko products according to work instructions and quality control documentation.
• Diagnose, repair, assemble, overhaul, refurbish and test Aggreko products.
• Assemble fuel and cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings, and sub-assemble fabricated components.
• Mate and torque flange assemblies using air/power tools, hand tools, torque tools and measuring equipment.
• Perform electrical system servicing to defined service intervals in line with standard operating procedures.
• Take part in continuous improvement projects and keep the work area safe and tidy.
• Follow company policies and comply with environmental, health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Experience working in the power generation field.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with strong knowledge of service and repair methods and assembling electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong computer analytics, leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure, deliver on time and with attention to detail.
