Staff Nurse – Acute Care (In‑patient)

About the role

Join the Acute Care Nursing Team at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as a Staff Nurse providing direct and indirect patient care across multiple specialties. You will work on the ACU unit delivering evidence‑based care to patients of all ages while supporting their behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs.

Key responsibilities

• Complete timely patient admissions, assessments and update care plans based on individual needs.
• Provide direct care, monitor conditions, document outcomes and incorporate family‑centered care principles.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using barcode scanning and adhere to approved protocols.
• Educate patients and families, assess cultural and special concerns, and validate understanding of teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a tertiary hospital ACU setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with barcode scanning for medication administration.
• Experience using Epic electronic health record system.
