Staff Nurse – Al Barsha

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the Nursing Services team at Aster Medical Centre in Al Barsha, Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care, administering medications, and supporting physicians during examinations and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Implement prescribed medication and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care according to clinical practice standards.
• Record and register patient medical information and complete pre‑examination records.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensure a comfortable environment, and manage supplies and equipment.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and facilitate investigations.
• Administer medicines, injections, hot water bottles, and perform first aid and immunizations as required.
• Perform technical procedures such as dressings, nebulisation, O₂ therapy, and GRBS testing.
• Communicate test results and deviations to patients and doctors, and ensure informed consent.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Escort patients to various departments and manage clinical documentation with accuracy.
