Staff Nurse (Critical Care) - Neuro ICU

About the role

The Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced critical‑care nurses to provide high‑quality care to patients of all ages. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, applying evidence‑based nursing practices, and supporting the psychosocial needs of patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate admission assessments and continuously monitor patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans based on nursing theory and scientific principles.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with approved nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, medication use, equipment, injury prevention, and nutrition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supervise Practical Nurses, and delegate appropriate tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient‑safety and Magnet principles.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and stay current with best‑practice information.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of recent Neuro ICU experience.
• Strong background in Neurosurgical ICU care.
• Ability to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
