Staff Nurse – Oncology/Haematology (Tower D7)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the Oncology and Haematology unit on Tower D7 at SSMC in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care, patient and family education, and coordinating transitions of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments covering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs.
• Develop and document individualized, culturally appropriate care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Monitor patient responses, modify care plans as needed, and ensure accurate documentation in the health record.
• Communicate pertinent information across all levels of care and contribute to resource‑efficient practice.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Experience in oncology or haematology nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, planning and coordination skills.
• Commitment to the professional code of conduct and SSMC’s mission, vision and values.
