Staff Nurse – Tower A4 (Medical Wing)

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower A4 of the Medical Wing provides direct patient care, education, and coordination of nursing activities. The role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care while upholding the mission, vision, and values of SSMC.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop and document individualized, culturally appropriate care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care activities and communicate relevant information across care levels.
• Promote health teaching, health promotion, and patient/family education.

Required profile

• Registered nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Commitment to professional nursing standards and the Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
