Staff Nurse – Tower B5, Medical Wing

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower B5 of the Medical Wing provides comprehensive, age‑appropriate patient care while coordinating nursing activities, education, and transitions of care. The role supports the mission and values of SSMC and follows the UAE nursing regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop and document individualized, culturally appropriate care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Document all care activities accurately in the patient’s health record and communicate relevant information across care levels.
• Promote health education and health‑promotion activities for patients and families.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualified under the UAE Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Commitment to professional conduct and adherence to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and UAE.
• Ability to prioritise patient needs, identify risks, and modify care plans based on ongoing assessment.
