Staff Nurse – Tower B8, Medical Wing

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower B8 of the Medical Wing is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, delivering direct patient care, and providing education to patients and families. The role supports professional nursing practice across the care continuum while upholding SSMC’s mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop individualized, culturally appropriate care plans with patients, families, and the healthcare team, using evidence‑based practices.
• Implement care plans, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications in accordance with organisational policies.
• Document all aspects of the care plan, modifications, and patient outcomes using standardized terminology.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Registered nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Commitment to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Strong patient‑centered focus with the ability to educate patients and families.
