Staff Physician – Preventive Oncology & Family Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a Staff Physician to join its Cancer Institute. The role focuses on preventive oncology and family medicine, delivering personalized care to patients at high risk of cancer and promoting wellness through precision prevention strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized medical care aimed at cancer prevention and health optimisation.
• Interpret and order germline genetic cancer panels and apply risk‑estimation models for patient stratification.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive medical assessments, diagnostics, and integrative care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, nutrition, and genetic counselling specialists.
• Guide patients through advanced screening, early detection, and lifestyle‑based intervention programmes.
• Contribute to research and program development in precision and longevity medicine.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure culturally appropriate, ethical care.
• Participate in administrative duties such as committees, task forces and performance‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with appropriate licensure to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
• For physicians from Tier 1 countries, a minimum of two years post‑qualification experience managing complex, high‑risk cases.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary, patient‑centred environment.
