Static & Rotary Equipment Foreman

About the role

The Static & Rotary Equipment Foreman will lead the installation and maintenance of static and rotating plant equipment on EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. This role ensures all equipment is installed to OEM standards, safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation and maintenance of static and rotating equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, turbines and gearboxes.
• Coordinate crane operations, rigging, lifting and positioning of heavy equipment.
• Verify foundation readiness, anchor bolts, baseplates, shims and supports before installation.
• Oversee shaft alignment, coupling checks, soft‑foot checks and other rotating equipment activities.
• Ensure equipment preservation, handling, storage and protection throughout construction.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, tools, materials and daily progress to meet construction targets.
• Support mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience installing static and/or rotating equipment on oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial EPC projects.
• Hands‑on supervision of equipment alignment, levelling, grouting and mechanical completion.
• Familiarity with ADNOC/UAE or GCC project requirements preferred.
• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
