Steel Fixer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our construction team in Dubai. The role involves preparing and installing reinforcement steel for various structural elements.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement plans.
• Cut, bend, and fix steel bars according to project specifications.
• Install and secure reinforcement bars for beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.
• Tie reinforcement bars using binding wire and appropriate tools.
• Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and placement of steel reinforcement.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other construction workers.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.
• Knowledge of steel reinforcement, bar bending, and fixing techniques.
• Ability to follow construction drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Required skills

• Interpretation of construction drawings.
• Cutting and bending of steel bars.
• Fixing and tying reinforcement bars with binding wire.
• Ensuring correct spacing and alignment of reinforcement.
