Steward – Hotel Kitchen & Dining Support

About the role

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a Steward you will keep the kitchen and dining areas sparkling clean while delivering memorable experiences that brighten every guest’s stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils, scrub pots and pans, and polish silver to keep serviceware spotless.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure supplies and equipment are well stocked and organized for seamless service.
• Perform essential kitchen cleaning tasks, including mopping floors and removing waste, to maintain overall cleanliness.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions, supporting event delivery.
• Handle hazardous substances safely and comply with all hygiene and safety regulations.
• Report any hazards or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor on duty.
• Train and mentor new team members, sharing expertise to strengthen team performance.
