Steward (Hotel Kitchen)

About the role

Join the dynamic kitchen team at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island as a Steward. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports the chefs and enhances the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, floors, walls, and workstations.
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Dispose of waste and recycling according to hotel sustainability guidelines.
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Support receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen supplies.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the kitchen team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment handling.
• Dishwashing machine operation.
