Steward – Kitchen & Dining Support

About the role

The Steward will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen and dining environment at a luxury hospitality venue. You will work closely with the kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure all equipment, utensils, and service areas meet the highest hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Assist with food preparation and storage while adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Support stock organization, deliveries, and inventory management.
• Set up and clean dining areas for daily service and special events.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following all safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a steward or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and good teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
