Stewarding Supervisor – Hotel Kitchen Operations

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor oversees daily stewarding operations at NH Collection Dubai The Palm, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and organization across all kitchen and food‑and‑beverage back‑of‑house areas. The role involves supervising a team, coordinating with culinary and F&B departments, and maintaining compliance with hotel and HACCP requirements. This position is based on‑site in Dubai and operates on a full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in line with hotel and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing and storage areas.
• Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks according to operational needs.
• Train, guide and motivate stewarding team members.
• Coordinate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, breakages or equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stewarding, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and flexible shifts.
