Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor leads the back‑of‑house team to ensure a clean, safe and efficient environment for all food‑and‑beverage operations at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, supporting kitchen productivity and enhancing guest satisfaction through excellent stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily stewarding activities across all outlets, kitchens and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Lead, train and motivate a multicultural team, managing schedules and resource planning for high‑volume periods, banquets and special events.
• Coordinate cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, glassware and operating tools, and monitor chemical usage and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP, health‑and‑safety regulations and conduct regular inspections of storage and waste areas.
• Control inventory of operating equipment, minimize breakage and support cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a stewarding supervisory role within a hotel or large‑scale food‑and‑beverage operation.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, food safety and HACCP standards.
• Proven ability to lead, train and develop a multicultural team.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business demands.
