Stewarding Supervisor – Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead the stewarding team at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring seamless banquet and restaurant operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct permanent and temporary stewarding staff.
• Set up and oversee all banquet functions on your shift.
• Conduct ongoing training and development for team members.
• Inspect work areas, monitor hygiene practices, and enforce health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Coordinate timely delivery of food, equipment, and service ware to all functions.
• Ensure dirty china, glassware and silver are returned promptly to the dish‑washing area.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and banquet kitchens, including floor safety.
• Act as liaison between stewarding and other hotel departments.
• Follow daily stewarding checklists and support waste‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in reading and speaking English.
• Ability to count service ware during inventory.
• Capability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
• Knowledge of stewarding equipment and its maintenance.
