Stewarding Team Leader – Hospitality Events

About the role

The Stewarding Team Leader will supervise and coordinate stewarding staff to ensure a safe, secure, and well‑organized environment for guests at The Meydan Hotel and its events. This role requires strong leadership, crowd‑control expertise, and the ability to maintain high service standards under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and allocate duties to stewarding staff for each event or daily operation.
• Conduct pre‑event briefings, ensuring all team members understand roles, safety procedures and venue requirements.
• Monitor crowd behavior, manage entry, exit and queue control to guarantee public safety.
• Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies or customer concerns and liaise with security, management and emergency services.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, venue regulations and complete incident reports.
• Support training, development and performance feedback for stewarding staff.

• Previous experience in stewarding, security or event operations.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team in a venue or public facility.
