Storekeeper - Automotive Workshop

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is building a pool of talent for future Storekeeper positions across the UAE. The role supports the smooth running of the workshop store by managing the receipt, storage, issuance and control of materials, consumables, tools and equipment. It sits in a dynamic after-sales and workshop environment, working with workshop management, foremen, technicians and other operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage and issuance of workshop materials, consumables, tools and equipment.
• Support procurement of consumables and materials, including sourcing, quotations, purchase documentation and supplier follow-up.
• Verify the quality and quantity of received materials and keep proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory so that materials and consumables are accurately recorded.
• Track returnable tools, equipment and other materials so they are returned to the store on time.
• Support workshop administration, including attendance records, timesheets and inventory audits.
• Maintain safety standards for stored materials and help minimise workplace hazards.
• Monitor waste materials such as oils, tyres, batteries, metals, plastics and paper, and coordinate their collection or disposal.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical, vocational or automotive engineering qualification, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in a reputable workshop, storekeeping, warehousing, parts inventory or similar role.
• Practical knowledge of inventory and stock-control processes.
• Experience handling workshop materials, tools, consumables or automotive parts.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to keep accurate inventory records.
• Good communication, planning and organisational abilities.
