Storekeeper

About the role

Debaj Group is looking for a dependable Storekeeper to support organized and accurate inventory operations at its Sharjah location. The role covers receiving, storing, issuing and tracking goods while keeping clear records and a safe, orderly stock area. It is an on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check quantities and condition against purchase orders or delivery documents, and report discrepancies.
• Label and store goods in designated locations, keeping stockrooms orderly and handling goods properly.
• Record incoming, outgoing and transferred inventory in stock registers or inventory systems.
• Issue materials to authorised colleagues, obtain acknowledgments and monitor stock levels for replenishment.
• Carry out routine stock counts, investigate variances and help with periodic audits and reconciliation.
• Maintain supporting documentation, follow workplace health and safety procedures and work with purchasing and operations teams.

Required profile

• Hands-on ability to receive, inspect, classify, label, store and issue stock accurately.
• Experience keeping inventory records, stock cards, delivery notes, issue vouchers and transfer documents.
• Accuracy in counting, reconciling records, spotting discrepancies and supporting stock audits.
• Knowledge of safe storage, stock rotation, housekeeping and proper handling of goods.
• Strong organisation and time management, and clear communication with suppliers, purchasing staff and internal departments.
• Trustworthiness, attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures.

Required skills

• Inventory software or spreadsheets for data entry, stock tracking and basic reporting.
• Stock counting and record reconciliation.
