Strategic Account Manager - Oil & Gas Software Sales

About the role

Quorum Software, a leading provider of digital technology for business workflows in the oil and gas sector, is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join its Middle East sales team. The role covers upstream software solutions and involves building and maintaining pre- and post-sales relationships with customers while meeting short- and long-term sales goals. The work model is hybrid, based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Build full account plans for assigned accounts and own the account profile and executive briefing documents.
• Work with Solutions Architects, Solution Consultants and other services team members to deliver a compelling message from first contact through to end-user experience.
• Build trust-based relationships with principal customer sponsors, including executives and analysts.
• Develop a growth strategy for each product and service to maximize customer share, and lead company-to-company relationships.
• Manage special deals so they are fully authorized and accurately documented.
• Promote regular structured communication with the virtual account team via conference calls or formal emails.
• Identify new opportunities, build market awareness and brand recognition in the region, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Quorum offering.
• Meet sales targets, load and update CRM and HR systems, comply with company and client policies, and take on other duties as assigned.
