Strategy Manager

About the role

KPMG Middle East is hiring a Strategy Manager in Dubai. The role leads engagements with analytical and financial rigor across commercial due diligence (CDD), feasibility and strategy, supporting senior stakeholders with investment views.

Key responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches
• Lead the building, review and stress-testing of financial models
• Develop commercial insights and strategic recommendations based on data
• Support senior stakeholders with clear, defensible investment views

Required profile

• Commercial due diligence and strategy exposure
• Hands-on experience in CDD engagements (market, competition, target assessment, business plan review) and commercial strategy and feasibility studies
• Ability to structure workstreams, identify value drivers and risks, and develop investment theses and strategic options
• Proven ability to own and deliver end-to-end analytical modules, work with senior stakeholders and operate with minimal supervision under tight deadlines
• CFA Level II (or above) strongly preferred; prior experience in equity research, transaction advisory, investment advisory or strategy consulting is preferred

Required skills

• Building and reviewing complex financial models, especially for real estate, infrastructure and funds
• Scenario analysis, sensitivities and return metrics (IRR, NPV, payback)
• Experience with investment cases, feasibility models and transaction scenarios
• Rapid understanding of new sectors and business models
