Structural Design Engineer – Steel Structures

About the role

Wrenze Engineering Consultancy is looking for a motivated Structural Design Engineer specialized in steel structures to join our Dubai team. You will work on a variety of projects, from warehouses to industrial facilities, ensuring safe and efficient structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design steel structures for warehouses, factories, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Perform structural analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and Ideastatica (mandatory).
• Prepare calculations, design reports and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings in coordination with detailers and BIM teams.
• Design steel connections, foundation reactions and review shop/fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC and local authority requirements.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and construction.
• Participate in value‑engineering and optimisation of structural systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–8+ years of experience in steel structure design.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Mandatory knowledge of Ideastatica; Tekla Structures or Revit is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
