Superintendent Commissioning Telecom

About the role

KBR is seeking a Superintendent Commissioning Telecom to lead commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate projects on a PMC assignment in Abu Dhabi. The role requires extensive on‑shore EPC experience in large‑scale projects across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the commissioning team, EPC contractor and sub‑contractors to ensure timely execution of commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to monitor compliance with their procedures and approve mechanical completion certificates.
• Review pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, manuals and punch‑list closures.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, troubleshoot obstacles and verify readiness for MC and RFSU certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of commissioning/operation readiness experience, preferably in the GCC.
• At least 5 years in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour‑gas, hydrogen production or hydro‑desulfurization.

Required skills

• Commissioning management for gas and condensate facilities.
• Mechanical completion verification and certification processes.
• Coordination with licensors, vendors and EPC contractors.
• Troubleshooting and punch‑list management in large‑scale EPC projects.
