Superintendent – Commissioning Telecom (Onshore EPC)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Superintendent for Telecom Commissioning to lead on‑shore site activities on a mega EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing commissioning and operation readiness for sales gas and condensate systems, coordinating with EPC contractors, sub‑contractors, licensors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the commissioning team, EPC contractor and sub‑contractors within the assigned area.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure commissioning follows their procedures.
• Review pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures and manuals.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates and readiness for MC and RFSU certifications.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, troubleshoot obstacles and approve punch‑list close‑outs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in commissioning/operation readiness, preferably in the GCC region.
• At least 5 years in a similar senior role on oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour‑gas, hydrogen production and hydro‑desulfurisation.
