Superintendent (I&C) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The KBR team is seeking a senior Superintendent (I&C) to lead commissioning and operation readiness activities for sales gas and condensate assets on a mega EPC project in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the commissioning team, EPC contractor and sub‑contractors within the I&C scope.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure commissioning follows their procedures.
• Monitor progress of commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate, reviewing pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Review commissioning manuals, verify mechanical completion certificates, and ensure readiness for MC and RFSU certifications.
• Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting meetings, resolve obstacles, and approve punch‑list close‑out.
• Ensure all hand‑over activities comply with contractual documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in commissioning/operation readiness, preferably in the GCC region.
• At least 5 years in a similar role on oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour‑gas, hydrogen production or hydro‑desulfurization.
• Proven experience leading sales‑gas and condensate commissioning efforts.
