Superintendent – Telecom Commissioning (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Superintendent Commissioning Telecom to lead commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate projects on a mega EPC contract in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating EPC contractors, sub‑contractors, licensors and vendors to ensure successful start‑up and hand‑over of complex oil‑and‑gas and petrochemical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the commissioning team, EPC contractor and sub‑contractors, ensuring compliance with licensor and vendor procedures.
• Review and approve pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, mechanical completion certificates, and punch‑list close‑outs.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to monitor commissioning activities and resolve technical obstacles.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, troubleshooting sessions and certify readiness for MC and RFSU certificates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of commissioning/operation readiness experience, preferably in the GCC region.
• At least 5 years in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour gas, hydrogen production or hydro‑desulfurization.
• Proven experience leading sales gas and condensate commissioning on large EPC projects.
