Superintendent, Vetting

About the role

The Superintendent, Vetting leads the vetting and inspection programme for ADNOC's maritime fleet, ensuring vessels meet the highest safety, environmental and regulatory standards. You will work closely with vessel crews, third‑party inspectors and internal stakeholders to maintain 100% vessel availability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily marine operations to guarantee vessel availability and optimal utilization.
• Conduct pre‑vetting, TMSA, Rightship and other third‑party inspections, identifying improvement areas.
• Ensure vessel documentation, certifications and crew competence comply with Oil Majors, OCIMF, ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
• Arrange, oversee and follow up on SIRE, Rightship, ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 55001 and ISO 45001 audits for the entire fleet.
• Upload certificates and reports to the OCIMF database and close any deficiencies promptly.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on inspection findings and disseminate preventive actions across departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marine operations, vetting or maritime compliance.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external inspectors.
