Supervisor, Central Receiving

About the role

The Supervisor, Central Receiving oversees supply clerks, leads and technicians, acting as the main link between operations management and workshop managers. The role ensures smooth daily store activities, compliance with warehouse directives, and timely delivery of spares.

Key responsibilities

• Provide managerial guidance to assigned supply staff and coordinate daily work priorities.
• Monitor and control all supply transactions, ensuring performance metrics are met.
• Prepare weekly reports on workshop store activities and compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date SAP data for all transactions and coordinate bi‑weekly reconciliations with customer service.
• Identify material supply trends and take preventive actions to avoid workshop stoppages.
• Manage timesheets, employee leave scheduling, and ensure continuous warehouse operations.
• Order equipment, office supplies, and IT/safety items for workshop stores.
• Promote continuous improvement, drive 5S/6S standards, and maintain security of stock.

Required profile

• Experience supervising supply or warehouse teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Attention to detail for discrepancy research and document control.
• Ability to work with managers to resolve compliance issues.

Required skills

• SAP data entry and transaction management.
• Knowledge of 5S/6S warehouse standards.
