Supervisor Commissioning (Mechanical Systems) – Offshore, WHT & Subsea Piping

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead mechanical systems commissioning for offshore oil & gas projects, including wellhead towers, offshore platforms, subsea pipelines and brownfield modifications in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical pre‑commissioning, commissioning, equipment start‑up, performance testing and handover activities on offshore installations and fabrication yards.
• Ensure all work follows approved procedures, project specifications, HSE requirements and operational objectives.
• Monitor progress, workforce productivity and report status, risks and technical issues to the Commissioning Engineer or Lead.
• Verify mechanical interfaces between wellhead towers and central processing facilities and support pigging facilities commissioning.
• Participate in client witnessing, acceptance testing and escalation of technical issues when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore projects, with at least 5 years in mechanical commissioning and start‑up.
• Proven experience on offshore platforms, wellhead towers, jackets, topsides and brownfield facilities.
• Previous experience with PMC/EPC environments; ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
