Supervisor – Guest Operations at Roxy Cinema

About the role

As a Supervisor – Guest Operations, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operations of Roxy Cinemas. You will lead frontline teams, oversee shift operations, ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and support the Cinema Management team in achieving business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cinema operations to deliver outstanding guest service and operational excellence.
• Lead, motivate and develop Guest Operations Associates to achieve performance and service targets.
• Support the Cinema Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational, safety and security standards to provide a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Oversee cash handling, reporting, stock control and operational audits.
• Drive guest satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and enhancing the overall cinema experience.
• Ensure facilities, equipment and operational assets are maintained and functioning effectively.
• Support promotional activities, alternative content events and cinema programming requirements.
• Utilise operational systems, including ticketing and reporting platforms, to monitor performance and efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (additional hospitality or business certification preferred).
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in cinema, entertainment, hospitality, retail or guest service.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and customer‑service skills.
• Experience with cash handling, shift‑based environments and operational procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to engage diverse teams.
