Supervisor – Maintenance (Electrical Background)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with an electrical engineering background to lead facility maintenance activities in a mission‑critical environment. The role involves overseeing preventive and corrective work, ensuring high reliability of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all preventive and corrective maintenance activities on site.
• Lead maintenance teams, perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for critical systems.
• Ensure maximum uptime of electrical, mechanical and HVAC infrastructure and respond to emergencies.
• Review maintenance reports, checklists and service records for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and subcontractors for repair activities.
• Enforce safety procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, risk assessments and LOTO requirements.
• Monitor spare‑parts availability and recommend critical spares.
• Read and interpret single‑line diagrams, control schematics and technical documentation.
• Support audits, inspections, shutdown planning and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in facility maintenance, telecom facilities, data centres or other mission‑critical environments.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience with LV distribution, generators, motor control centres and related systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
