Supply Chain Quality Management Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Quality Management Manager will own supplier quality performance and support First Article Inspection (FAI) for mechanical commodities such as investment casting, CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication, with occasional support for electronics and standard parts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supplier quality scorecards (DPPM, SCAR closure, audit results) and lead AS9100D and Nadcap audits.
• Manage the end‑to‑end SCAR process, including 8D root‑cause analysis, verification and closure.
• Support FAI governance per AS9102, review and approve FAI packages, and coordinate non‑conformance disposition with Engineering.
• Run Quarterly Business Reviews, drive Supplier Improvement Plans and recommend Preferred Supplier List changes.
• Lead and mentor Supply Quality Specialists and report KPIs to the Head of SCM & Procurement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of supplier/supply chain quality experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AS9100D, AS9102 and Nadcap requirements.
• Proven track record of leading supplier audits and corrective‑action programs.
• People‑management experience with technical teams.
