Supply Relationship Management Lead

About the role

Avanceon is seeking a Supply Relationship Management Lead to drive the procurement of specialized equipment and instrumentation for wellhead control, safety shutdown, and process automation projects. The role combines technical knowledge with strategic sourcing and regional market expertise to ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for wellhead control panels, safety instrumented systems, and process instrumentation.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and OEMs across the UAE, GCC, and Europe, conducting audits and performance reviews.
• Lead category strategies for capital equipment, instrumentation, services, and logistics, benchmarking pricing and contract terms.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor procurement analysts and category managers, and collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier development within industrial or automation sectors.
