Support Assistant

About the role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking for an enthusiastic Support Assistant to join its operations team. You will play a key part in ensuring student safety, supporting daily school activities, and contributing to a caring, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students on school buses, register them on‑ and off‑board, and maintain clear communication with parents.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures during transport journeys.
• Provide administrative and practical assistance across classrooms, the library, the clinic, and office areas.
• Support teachers and students during lessons and break times, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assist with daily school transport operations, ensuring the well‑being of all pupils.
