About the role
The Swedish Food Market & Bistro Assistant supports daily operations of the Swedish Food Market at IKEA Dalma Mall, ensuring high service standards, proper merchandising, and inventory control in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Swedish Food Market activities according to the Store Commercial Calendar.
- Prepare the market for opening each day, including merchandising, labeling, pricing and cleanliness.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and manage inventory control of all market articles.
- Complete operational checklists, follow guidelines and take timely action on required plans.
- Provide excellent customer service and efficient cashiering throughout the shift.
Required profile
- High School or Trade School graduate.
- 3 to 5 years of retail experience.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
Required skills
- Strategic planning and analytical abilities.
- Ability to follow IKEA standards for merchandising and pricing.
