Swimming Teacher

About the role

The Dubai Autism Center is looking for a qualified Swimming Teacher to deliver safe, structured, and individualized swimming lessons to children with autism and developmental needs. The role involves planning and conducting sessions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each child's development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct swimming lessons tailored to each child's abilities and individual needs.
• Ensure safety and proper supervision of all students during swimming sessions.
• Develop and implement age‑appropriate swimming activities.
• Use positive reinforcement and adapted teaching strategies.
• Monitor and document students' swimming progress.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with parents.

Required profile

• Recognized Swimming Teacher/Instructor certification (Level 2 or equivalent).
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid lifeguard or recognized aquatic safety qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of swimming teaching experience, preferably with children.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
