Synthetic Flight Instructor / Examiner – Airbus & Boeing

About the role

Emirates Flight Training is looking for experienced Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) and Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE) to support simulator‑based training and checking operations. The role is ground‑based, delivering high‑quality instruction on Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and ground school sessions in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment using FSTD for Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
• Conduct ground school instruction and ensure compliance with GCAA regulations.
• Apply Competency‑Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence‑Based Training (EBT) methodologies.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, instructional quality, and standardisation.
• Collaborate with Emirates Flight Training team to continuously improve training programmes.

Required profile

• Hold or have held a CPL / APTL with at least 1,500 PIC hours on multi‑pilot jet aircraft.
• Minimum 12 months experience as an instructor or examiner.
• ELP level 4 or higher.
• Strong CRM skills and a professional training ethos.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GCAA regulations.
• Proficiency with Flight Simulator Training Devices.
