Synthetic Flight Instructor – Ground (Boeing)

About the role

Emirates Flight Training is seeking a Synthetic Flight Instructor for ground‑based training on Boeing aircraft. The role involves delivering type‑rating, recurrent and recency training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and conducting ground‑school sessions in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training on FSTD and conduct ground‑school instruction for pilots.
• Provide type‑rating, recurrent and recency training in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Complete detailed assessments and submit reports through the electronic reporting system.
• Recommend additional or remedial training for pilots who do not meet performance standards.
• Provide feedback on training efficiency, safety and instructional methods to management.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, course development and other training initiatives.

Required profile

• Hold or have held a CPL, MPL or ATPL licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience as an active instructor or examiner.
• At least 1 500 flight hours on a multi‑pilot aeroplane.

Required skills

• Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) operation.
• Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology.
