System and Storage Engineer

About the role

ParamInfo is seeking a System and Storage Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing server and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and upgrade xFusion servers and Huawei storage arrays.
• Provision and manage Storage LUNs, SAN switching, and RAID technologies.
• Implement and support backup solutions using Commvault and integrate them with various storage protocols.
• Design and execute disaster recovery and storage replication strategies.
• Monitor and tune IOPS, disk queues and overall storage performance.
• Document server and storage configurations, troubleshooting steps and solution workflows.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage IT inventory related to storage hardware.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with servers and storage systems.
• Strong knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS and SMB protocols.
• Experience with RAID, DR replication, and object storage using S3 protocols.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with firmware upgrades and hardware configuration.
