Systems Administrator - Network Security & End User Support

About the role

A dynamic IT team is looking for a highly motivated Systems Administrator with at least 3 years of experience. You will maintain, support and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure, with a focus on end-user support and network security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Fortigate firewalls, including security policies, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting
• Monitor networks, run intrusion detection and vulnerability assessments, and implement secure VPNs for remote access
• Configure and maintain Aruba, HP and Draytek switches and Aruba Wi-Fi access points, and set up network segmentation and VLANs
• Support Zoom Phone Pro and 3CX, including user provisioning and call routing
• Administer Google Workspace Enterprise and MS 365, including user accounts, email settings and security policies
• Provide end-user support for Windows, Mac and Unix, and maintain an IT asset inventory
• Manage Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) via Apple Business Manager and an MDM platform, including zero-touch setup, app and policy deployment, OS updates and remote lock or wipe

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator focused on network security
• Hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls, Aruba switches and Wi-Fi access points, and Zoom Phone Pro
• Valid UAE driving licence

Required skills

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs
• Proficiency supporting Windows, Mac and Unix
• Experience with Google Workspace Enterprise and MS 365
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
